HP Q1999A AIT-3 is available at Digital Devices. It is called an Advanced Intelligent Tape  3(AIT-3)  format tape cartridge. It has a tape length of 230 meters which enables  a native data storage capacity of 100GB that can be expanded up to 200GB when compressed. It features the use of AME (Advance Metal Evaporated)  technology and Diamond Like Carbon technology to create a smooth and hard  surface enabling a high recording density and improved longevity of the media.  It also features built in Memory in Cassette(MIC) technology which speeds up  file access. The HP Q1999A comes sealed in a transparent plastic casing which  helps prevent dust and static accumulation.
HP AIT storage media are ideal for  departmental and workgroup backups where capacity, performance and cost are  critical. HP AIT offers capacities from 70 GB to 200 GB with built in MIC  technology giving faster file access and higher reliability.
