Imation's 40868 is a Black Watch 9840 Volsafe format tape cartridge. It has a native data storage capacity of 20GB which can be expanded up to 80GB when compressed. It features the use of a Metal Particulate (MP) tape with Imation trademark backcoating that dissipates static charges and minimizes tape compression to improve the performance and reliability of the tape. The Imation 40868 tape cartridge comes labeled and initialized from the manufacturer.
