Maxell  229558 LTO 6 is combined with most advanced and Maxell’s NeoSMART technology, which is a blend of superior magnetic tape and developed techniques created the highest dependability in data backup, storage and revival. The enhanced superior magnetic particles and novel coating and dispersion techniques, sophisticated cartridge covering and the other mechanism of the NeoSMART technology are planned to support Maxell Ultrium LTO 6 cartridge. These innovative technologies help the next generation cartridge to have massive capacity 2.5TB native and 6.25TB compressed through fast and constant 160MB/Sec native and 400MB/Sec compressed data transfer speed.

Like Maxell LTO4 and LTO5 media cartridges the Maxell LTO6 tapes have AES 256-bit encryption functionality facilitates hardware supported writing of encrypted information to the LTO 6 data cartridge, to keep responsive and most importantly information during fast and heavy transactions and prevent unnecessary data losses. Maxell high quality and accurate Servo system (HSPT) perform accurate read and write tasks with more stability despite 2,176 data track, and keep the Servo track ideally united for accurate Ultrium tape head tracking.

The WORM cartridges offer excellent protection of compliance regulatory information and prevents very important and valuable information from being erased, modification overwritten. The Maxell LTO-6 WORM cartridges are available along with original RW cartridges.
